But Satine Phoenix reckons that porn stars are just as nerdy as the rest of us:

“Why wouldn't a porn star play Dungeons and Dragons? It's an escapist game just like World of Warcraft or any videogame.”

But Phoenix isn’t your usual porn star.  She’s the “Head Geek Mistress” of SexFoodAndComicBooks.com.  She’s actually retired from the porn industry and fetish modeling with a plan to write and illustrate comic books, with the goal of getting “a GIANT booth in Wondercon & Comiccon” and making millions.

So sitting around a table with four other porn stars, a stripper and a hairdresser playing “old school D&D” is just in a day’s work for Phoenix.

She explains that the reality of porn is that there is lots of waiting in between filming scenes, and porn stars have to do something to fill the time.

“When [porn stars] aren't having sex with each other, many play games or watch movies. A couple of us in the group are book worms, some read comic books and watch cartoons while others like foreign films or movies with lots of explosions and visual effects.”
